Notation

This site uses the book’s notation, so you can move between the two. Symbols are grouped by the Part where they first appear, in chapter order; each is listed once, where it is introduced, unless a later chapter gives it a new meaning. The book reuses some letters for different things in different chapters; the last section lists them.

For the key equations themselves, see the cheat sheets.
